We here at Smous HQ just love the outdoors. As you probably know by now the Sport Smous is more on the field or in the sea than at his desk…. (desk? what desk?).
My caravan may have a ‘strikkie” but that doesn’t stop me from hitting the open road every now and then, especially down the R27. We all just love the outdoors!!!
Last weekend on one of my trips down the West Coast while having a couple of brandys and watching some rugby I met the guys form CampTrails, Robfair, Hotrods, Cape Umbrellas and Fire Finch.
We started talking about their products, and what amazing products they go. Here are some, you can also check out there websites: www.camptrails.co.za, www.hot-rods.co.za, www.robfair.co.za.
Can you imagine having a nice braai on Groote Schuur sport field before going to Newlands to support Flouw and the Sport Smous, or on the West Coast having a crayfish right next to the water….. All of this is possible with your Bag O Braai. Have you seen this thing….its amazing!

CAMPTRAILS products cover a wide range of outdoor/leisure activities be it hiking, biking, camping, caravanning, 4×4/Off Roading or a braai at a rugby game or in the back yard or patio. You will find Camptrails products used in all these activities. From Tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, spider chairs, directors chairs, umbrellas to hand held compasses ,chow kits, billycans, water bottles.

You name it they stock it. CAMPTRAILS was founded more than 20 years ago. It was the first expert importer of own branded quality camping equipment. Many the CAMPTRAILS products like the Blazer, Astra, Hikelite and Villa tents are considered to be best in class. Same with the CAMPTRAILS Therm300. The CAMPTRAILS range of blow up Mattresses likewise. The CAMPTRAILS brand stands for good quality at a fair price.

They are also suppliers of th ROBFAIR brand of cast Iron burners and accessories. Their partner in China is a professional engineer that founded the cast iron moulded industry in China. They know most of the foundries in China, their weaknesses and their strengths. The industry is being modernised and some of the older foundries are battling to keep up with quality standards.
Each ROBFAIR burner and manifold is quality checked in the ROBFAIR warehouse in China. They are inspected for obvious defects and then attached to gas and lit. So every single ROBFAIR burner has been lit and tested for quality of flame before you receive it.
Recently poor quality burners have been sold in South Africa. The casting are thin and not well set. In order to assist clients that have had the misfortune of purchasing these burners ROBFAIR have launched a ROBFAIR burner replacement program. If you can ship or show them the inferior/damaged unit they will sell you a ROBFAIR burner at cost price. ROBFAIR represents a quality product at fair price.

They unfortunately they don’t sell directly to the public, but all the products are available at your nearest Outdoor Warehouse. Should you struggle to find a stockest contact them:

Have you ever thought about putting ads in your RSS feed? It looks like you get a good amount of traffic on your website. I know some readers don’t like ads very much, but it could provide a way to at least pay for the hosting or even get a few extra coins. I know I usually click on the ads on blogs that I read regularly just to show support. Just something to think about.
Golf is a insanely difficult activity both mentally and as well as physically, but mostly mentally. A round of golf is most likely a lot like authoring a informative blog post like you have managed to do. You must concentrate mentally while you form your opinions for others to read. Wow, maybe you should take up golfing if you haven’t already, your blogging is already very good.
Hello from Wexford Ireland, I enjoyed the article. Very Good.
